JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Atlantic League Baseball Franchise is searching for a Senior Vice President of Sales. The Senior Vice President will be responsible for overall ticket sales strategy and execution of day-to-day operation and management of the ticket sales department with focus on group sales. Additionally, you will be part of senior leadership team and work closely and in conjunction with the President and senior team on overall revenue generation strategies.
The Senior Vice President must be extremely proficient in sales strategy with ability to implement their own sales plan and management of sales staff including outreach and sales metrics and targets on a regular basis through use of CRM system. This is a Senior level position and the individual is expected to be a leader not only in the sales department but in the office overall and will be expected to develop relationships in the community.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate revenue using all sales methods, including face to face appointments, cold calls, stadium tours, prospecting, and networking
Develop outreach and sales targets for the department and individual members
Be proficient or ability to become proficient in use of CRM software and ticket programs in order to effectively monitor staff output and performance
Manage relationships with various accounts to exceed established sales goals; Conduct high amounts of new business meetings and outreach daily
Attend team, community, and other events for purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
Promote the sale of season tickets, group tickets and corporate sales
Regularly report to Executive team and ownership on all aspects of ticket revenue.
Work closely with President on budgets, department goals, and tracking
Provide prompt & continuing service and be a client liaison to all company, season, and corporate ticket holders
Work closely with team staff and partners to ensure proper set up for ticket and suite holders including coordination with promotions and food and beverage
Fulfill any role assigned by the company, whether sales based, administrative in nature or otherwise
Forward facing leadership role within the company, community, and organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year)
At least five (5) years of related ticket sales work and management experience
Must be able to work game nights, weekends, holidays, and select ticket sales and public relations events
Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner and time management skills
Excellent relationship building and customer service skills
Ability to learn in a team environment and adhere to organizational guidelines
Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn required business systems
Ability to work in high pressure situations and make judgement calls in a timely and efficient manner
Ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information
