BLUEPRINT SPORTS - GENERAL MANAGER (FUTURE OPENINGS)

We are currently adding candidates to our database for future GM openings in the following regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and Northwest. The primary responsibility of this position is to:


Responsibilities:


  • Student-Athlete Recruitment Onboarding - Identify and sign up Student-Athletes at the Partner University/College to the platform so that they may opt into NIL deals.

  • Student-Athlete Engagements - Plan, organize, attend and manage all successful engagement and events with Student-Athletes.

  • Student-Athlete Customer Service - Offer 24/7 service while managing expectations with the Student-Athletes, key community supporters, brands, businesses, and the University/College compliance office.

  • Student-Athlete Administration - Helps prepare and communicate the proper documentation for Student-Athletes and the University/College compliance office.

  • Outbound Sales - Become the face of the organization in your region to work directly with companies and supporters who wish to engage with these Student-Athletes.

  • Lead the NIL program, conceptualizing and coordinating programming and resources which pair current athletes with campus and alumni networks and resources.

  • Serve as the liaison on NIL-related matters between all relevant university stakeholders.

  • Oversee the implementation and regular review of university NIL policies and procedures.

  • Manage NIL questions and requests from university stakeholders (e.g., athletes, coaches, staff, etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g., boosters, third party individuals, local business, etc.).

  • Create and implement efficient and effective communication strategies to keep key university personnel abreast of the latest industry trends and developments.

  • Educate and work with the university athletics department on external branding and (NIL) regulations and opportunities.

  • Coordinate and manage involvement of NIL agents and professional service providers.

  • Coordinate consistent meetings of university and campus stakeholders including but not limited to senior administrators, compliance, student-athlete development, academic services, development and external relations.

  • Assist with the tracking and monitoring of NIL activities in compliance with university’s NIL policy.

  • Assist in the creation and execution of social and digital media strategies which enhance athlete recruitment efforts for all sport programs.

  • Stay updated on the latest NIL trends and best practices, including legislative advancements, NCAA compliance regulations, and vendor landscape evolutions.

  • Support virtual and in-person recruiting efforts as permitted by NCAA legislation.

  • Regularly participate in Blueprint Sports meetings and discussions regarding evolving trends in collegiate athletics and best practices.

  • Adapt role to maximize opportunities as a result of evolving changes in NCAA rules and regulations.

  • Provide regular reports to the executive team at Blueprint Sports.

  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality, both within organization, applicable university and other external entities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university

  • At least two (2) years of experience in account management, sport sponsorships, or college athletics and/or professional sports business experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of Name, Image, Likeness as it relates to the collegiate athletics space

  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills

  • Conscientious attention to detail, proactive and self-motivated

  • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-level results

  • Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as needed

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite(s)
