Blueprint Sports powers the industry's leading name, image, and likeness NIL collectives for alums and supporters and businesses around student-athletes at their favorite universities.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Research and write press releases, content for websites, infographics, and newsletters, to support Blueprint Sports and our national group of NIL collectives.

  • Ideate and lead daily content calendars across Blueprint Sports and our collective channels.

  • Manage the creation of engaging graphics from concept to completion.

  • Maintain an active media list of local and national sports reporters and journalists.

  • Work alongside VP Marketing & Communications and the Digital Media Manager to ensure each brand’s look and feel are represented across all content in both voice and imagery.

  • Work with social media platform contacts on troubleshooting measures such as account hacks, lost passwords, verification, imposter accounts, etc.

  • Monitor trends and best practices in social media and public relations.

  • Oversee requests with internal creative and website teams.

  • Assist our collective teams with arranging and coordinating events and campaigns, to support their overall goals.

  • Maintain active communication with third-party vendors and keep track of all projects and requests.

  • Stay abreast of all relevant client, industry and technology developments.

  • Use creative writing skills to support general copywriting needs. All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • One (1) to Two (2) years of direct experience in marketing, public relations, social media or a combination of all.

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Canva, Sprouts Social or similar software platforms.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Passionate about social media content and trends.

  • Experience creating engaging content to grow audiences.

  • Passion for college sports or the sports landscape as a whole; interest in pop-culture and lifestyle trends.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to write creative copy for social media; ability to write in different brand voices.

  • Familiarity with social media reporting tools; ability to develop reports and provide insights.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and balance short-term and long-term projects.

  • Experience with asset creation.

  • Ability to work outside working hours when needed.

  • Self-starter who can work on a small team in a dynamic organization.

  • Must be able to think strategically, creatively, and problem-solve.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment.

  • Driven to increase industry knowledge and work to stay ahead of the curve.
