About Arkansas Edge: Arkansas Edge is the NIL collective that strives to support all 465-plus student-athletes at the University of Arkansas by facilitating a centralized, constant stream of NIL opportunities, which allow student-athletes to engage with charitable causes and participate in business engagements, building their brands while making a positive impact. The collective connects fans, alumni, businesses, and charities with student-athletes while enabling Razorback student-athletes to grow their brands and earn compensation in compliance with NCAA guidelines and state laws. Fans, supporters, and businesses can contribute to providing these NIL opportunities for Razorback student-athletes which help keep Razorback sports programs competitive through fan club memberships, tax-deductible donations, and corporate partnerships and sponsorships.



· Revenue Generation – Identify, prospect and work with national, regional and local businesses that wish to promote their businesses and brands by engaging with University of Arkansas student-athletes and the Collective through NIL opportunities, primarily for the basketball programs. The primary goal will be to establish and raise new NIL funding through business partnerships and sponsorships. This role will be expected to prospect and close new opportunities, plan and conduct sales meetings, consult businesses on NIL rules and how NIL opportunities can provide value to strategic marketing plans, negotiate deals and contracts, and provide reporting to leadership.

· Athletics Administration – Work with the collective Executive Director and Blueprint Sports leadership to be the primary liaison for basketball with athletics administration, coaching staff, and student-athletes.



The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics, traits, and experience:

· Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university, University of Arkansas alumni and/or former student-athlete preferred but not required

·  At least three (3) years of experience in corporate sponsorship sales, sports marketing, marketing/advertising/influencer strategy, media/agency/radio/TV sales, talent representation or B2B sales

·  Demonstrated understanding of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) as it relates to the collegiate athletics space preferred but not required

·  Proven track record of quickly developing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders

·  Strong sales and presentation skills with the ability to follow up, negotiate, influence and close deals quickly

·  Possess a conscientious attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

·  Demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty and has a reputation as a person who always does the right/fair thing

·  Be proactive and self-motivated by a will to achieve results and win

·  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-level results

·  Ability to work nights/weekends/sporting events and travel (<10%) as needed

·  Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite(s)

·  Role is located in or near Fayetteville, AR
